Child Counseling
Where Every Child's Story Matters
Supporting Children Ages 11 and older
My Approach to Child Counseling
I work with children ages 11 and older who are navigating grief, particularly following divorce, trauma, or other significant life changes changes such as moving, family changes, or loss.
I use a child-centered approach with art, play and story techniques to help children develop emotional awareness, self-confidence, and healthy coping skills.
I also incorporate elements of Superhero Therapy, empowering children to connect with their inner self and their parts, build courage, and strengthen resilience. Each session is designed to support self-expression and help children express emotions and feelings when words are difficult to find.
CORE VALUES
BELONGING
Belonging means offering a space where you can show up as you are and feel accepted, safe, and understood.
INTENTIONALITY
Each decision is approached with thoughtfulness, authenticity, and intention, recognizing that small actions often create lasting impact.
CREATIVITY
Growth and change are ongoing, creative processes. By learning from the past, we embrace new ways of thinking, living, and relating that foster healing, confidence, and transformation.
