Sharing Stories. Creating Connections. Belonging

Find Connection Through Group Counseling

What You Story Work?

We all have stories that shape who we are, influence our relationships, and impact how we show up in the world. Many of us find it difficult to revisit the stories of pain and brokenness that have shaped our lives. Narrative-Focused Trauma Therapy provides a compassionate, supportive space to gently explore your story, make sense of past experiences, and begin the healing process.

Through a combination of storytelling, expressive art, reflective writing, and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions, we work together to uncover the impact of childhood experiences, understand longstanding patterns of relating, and cultivate greater self-awareness, healing, and emotional resilience. Rather than remaining defined by past wounds, you can begin to make sense of your story, experience lasting transformation, and move toward a life marked by greater freedom, connection, and inner rest.

WRITE YOUR STORY
You will write a personal trauma narrative from ages 4–18, exploring the context surrounding the moments of shattering, including what happened before, during, and after.

CULTIVATE COMPASSION
You will share your written narrative within a small group setting. This process invites deeper awareness of your experiences, emotional responses, and areas of struggle through somatic exercises, creative expression, and body-based relaxation techniques.

HEAL WITH OTHERS
You will experience the compassion, kindness, connection, and encouragement of others as you engage with your story. Through this process, you will begin to heal the parts of yourself that have felt isolated, unheard, unseen or unsupported.
