About Heidi

My professional journey began in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Florida State University, but over time I realized my greatest fulfillment came from supporting and encouraging others through life’s challenges. That realization inspired me to transition into the field of mental health. As a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern (RCSWI) under clinical supervision, I have the privilege of helping people recognize their worth and know they are seen, valued, and capable of thriving.

In my practice, I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).  While evidence-based techniques are important, I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful and lasting change.

Counseling with me is collaborative and skills-based, guiding you to manage intense emotions, tolerate distress, improve relationships, and live in alignment with your values.

Outside of my work, I find joy in laughing with my husband, spending time in nature, making art, and gardening.
